World’s first high-voltage stabilization technology

Taiwan Steel Resources Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the subsidiary) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of our company. It primarily focuses on the stabilization and reuse of reducing slag, oxide slag, and rotary kiln slag generated from electric arc furnace steelmaking. It is the world’s first fully automated stabilization plant using 21 kgf/cm² high-pressure steam (215°C saturated steam).


The core stabilization technology involves reacting f-CaO and f-MgO with water in a high-temperature autoclave for 3-6 hours to decompose them into stable calcium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide. Once stabilized, the slag will no longer expand in volume upon contact with water, significantly shortening the stabilization time compared to the 6-12 months required for open-air natural stockpiling abroad. This allows for the rapid production of stable graded granular materials and accelerates waste disposal.
