Electric-arc-furnace (EAF) slag -Rotary kiln slag

According to Appendix No. 35, regulations for Rotary kiln slag under the “Management Guideline for the Reuse of Industrial Waste”, processed Rotary kiln slag may be reused in cement raw materials, cement products, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt concrete, asphalt concrete aggregates, non-structural concrete aggregates, or the subbase and base course-grade aggregates for pavement constructions.
Depending on the application, the product quality of the Rotary kiln slag aggregate products shall meet the requirements of the Chinese National Standards of “CNS 15305 Materials for soil-aggregate subbase, base, and surface courses” and “CNS 1240 Concrete aggregates”.
